COSMETOLOGY:

1200 Hours, 6 months:  To educate and train the students to enter beauty services such as hair cutting, hair shampooing, hair rinses, hair arranging, facials, make-up, hair treatment, wigs, hair coloring, chemical waving and relaxing, hair removal, manicure and pedicure.

NAIL TECHNOLOGY:

240 Hours, 6 weeks:  To educate, prepare, and train students for employment in the field of nail technology including professional manicure and pedicure techniques, nail shaping, polishing, and how to apply the knowledge of using acrylic, gel, silk, and fiberglass nails.

FACIAL/SKIN CARE:

260 Hours, 8 weeks:  To provide the skills necessary to perform facial massage, treatments using oils, creams, lotions, or other preparations to properly protect the client from significant damage. To describe chemicals, implements and techniques used in hair removal and make-up.

FULL SPECIALIST:

500 Hours, 12 weeks:  To educate, prepare, and provide information and knowledge of Nail Technology and Facial/Skin Care Program together.

TRADITIONAL BARBER:

1200 Hours, 6 months: To educate, train, and prepare students to engage in the practice of licensed barbering in Florida.  The following practices are: shaving, cutting, trimming, coloring, shampooing, arranging, dressing, curling, or waving the hair or beard or applying oils, creams, lotions, or other preparations to the face, scalp, or neck, either by hand or by mechanical appliances such as blow dryer, hot iron curler.

PERMANENT MAKE-UP:

40 Hours, 1 week:  To prepare the students to be qualified to own or enter a field of professional career in micro pigment implantation to create a permanent eyebrows, eyeliners, lip liners, and camouflage.  To train students on the procedures that comply with the State of Florida Statute, such as all the requirements for registration for general supervision according to Florida Statute 61F6-19.002, Tattooing: General Supervision.  (V. 10, P.  772/61F6-29.002 (2)
